The Safeguarding Children Board

The overall role of Peterborough Safeguarding Children Board (PSCB) is to coordinate local work to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and to ensure the effectiveness of what the member organisations do individually and together.

Members of the PSCB include various agencies e.g. Children's Social Care; Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Foundation Trust, the Strategic Health Authority and Primary Care Trusts; the Police; Probation; Youth Offending Team; Connexions and CAFCASS.

The constitution of the PSCB is contained in our procedures manual (Appendix 2:Peterborough Safeguarding Children Board - Constitution).
